The Deeb 1920's

L to R : Mtanious M Deeb,  Nasser  Deeb , Mtanious D Deeb &  George  Deeb . Mr George Deeb came to Detroit in the early 1920’s. He sent western clothes to his brothers  (Mtanious & Nasser )& cousin Mtanious back home in Syria and asked them to take a picture together in the studio. He had his picture added to them (imposed). This portrait hang in his house for over 75 years. Mrs. Sarah Deeb (wife of George Deeb) gave the portrait  George N. Deeb for keep sake. Now it hangs in my house.

Dib Abdulla Dib is from Fairouzeh,Syria . He and his brothers came to Detroit in the early 1900’s. The Dib family still live in Michigan and some of them have moved to California. He was a very intellegent man with good sense of humor. He sreved in  US army and was a cantor in the church. Arab History in Detroit
